One of my creative project just got published !!! This time it’s in Lucy’s Magazine !!! Ouiiiiii !!!! soooo Happy !!! Ok ok ok I have to calm down, it’s only for their Webitorial… but nonetheless, it’s already one step closer to a publication in their print magazine !!!

This project “Dusky Flower” came from my collaboration with none other than the talented Sarah Ladouceur ! it’s been some time now that I wanted to work with her, so when I saw on Facebook that she was looking for a photographer who will be willing to do some beauty shots, I jump on the occasion and contacted her !
Et voilà :D

Since it was the first time we worked together, and also the first time that I was doing a shoot entirely about beauty, I must admit that I was a little scared and lost… but like always, I’m really happy I put myself in this situation ! So I learned a lot, as on the lighting / direction / coordination side as on my artistic preferences ! (and yes, that’s a good thing ;P )

I have to give a special “thank you” to Carolane, without her this project could never had happened ! because yes, as always, many surprises happen during a test shoot, and this time the surprise was the model who cancelled last minute… well, this sort of thing happen.. And you have to be prepared… but I wasn’t… but again, I was really lucky to be on set with Sarah this time, because in addition of having a great network, this girl is proactive and I love that ! So she called her friend Carolane, and a few minutes after, here were we, shooting this project !

Carolane, you were our saviour !!! I’m really glad that you choose to come this day, this project is perfect because of you ! Sarah I really loved working with you ! You Rock !

So here it is, my First Beauty Editorial created in exclusivity for Lucy’s magazine !

Je viens d’avoir une nouvelle publication !!! Cette fois-ci dans Lucy’s magazine !!! Ouiiii je suis tellement contente !!! Bon ok, il s’agit d’une publication en ligne dans leur “webitorial” … mais c’est déjà un premier pas ! Et j’espère avoir la chance d’être un jour publié dans leur magazine imprimé !!!

Ce projet “Dusky Flower” est né d’une collaboration avec la talentueuse Sarah Ladouceur! Je dois vous avouer que cela faisait déjà quelque temps que j’avais très envie de travailler avec elle !! Donc quand j’ai vu sur Facebook qu’elle recherchait un photographe pour faire du Beauty, je l’ai de suite contacté ! et voilà :D

Comme c’était la première fois que je travaillais avec Sarah et aussi que je faisais un Éditorial complètement de style beauté j’étais un peu perdue… Je ne savais pas exactement vers quoi je m’en allais et donc évidemment, encore une fois, j’ai beaucoup appris ! Autant sur le côté technique de l’éclairage, sur le travail de direction et de coordination, que sur mes préférences artistiques !!! Et je n'ai certainement pas fini d'apprendre ! :P

Je me dois de remercier infiniment Carolanne, sans qui ce projet créatif n'aurait jamais vu le jour ! Eh oui, la vie est toujours faite de surprise, et cette fois-ci la surprise fut un empêchement de dernière minute de notre modèle… Ce sont des choses qui arrivent, et ce jour-là, heureusement que j’étais accompagnée de Sarah, car cette fille en plus d’avoir un bon réseau est plutôt du genre réactif ! Ce que j’apprécie beaucoup ! Elle a donc de suite appelé son amie Carolane, qui est arrivée dans les minutes qui suivirent l’appel !

Carolane tu as été notre sauveuse, et je suis vraiment heureuse que tu sois venue, le résultat est parfait grâce à toi ! Sarah, j’ai adoré travailler avec toi ! You Rock !

Voici donc mon premier Éditorial Beauté en exclusivité pour Lucy’s magazine !
